Before we came to the UK we thought.

In 2005 this is what we thought about life in the UK.  

• Frantisek says, Life is much better in the UK

• Nagpal says, there are jobs and freedom.

• Claudio says, English is very important. English is an international language.

• Sara says, English people help you.

•  Oumou says there arefree schools and medicine. 

• Tek thinks that Buckingham Palace is very nice. The Queen is very friendly. 

• Alla says, the wages in England are good. The hospitals are clean.

• Alex says, English people eat fish and chips, burgers, kebabs, sandwiches and toast. 

• Maria says, they like drinking beer and milk. 

• Petr says, they are always smoking.

• Adilson says, he likes English music.

• Nagpal says, it is very good but very noisy.

• Xia thinks old English buildings are very nice. 

• Bogumila thinks London is interesting. The red buses are beautiful.

• Alex says he thought there were hurricanes every day.

• Alla says in her country it much colder. There is a lot of snow, but in the UK it is raining all the time.
